Railway service between Dhaka and the rest of the country was interrupted for an hour this morning after a crane used for the Dhaka Elevated Expressway project fell on a rail track near the FDC gate in Karwan Bazar.
The incident happened about 6:40 am, and operations were delayed until 7:30 am, according to Ferdous Ahmed Biswas, officer-in-charge of Dhaka Railway Police Station.
There were no casualties reported in the incident, he said.
